WEB DESIGNER - TEAM LEAD
University of Central Florida
Since 2003 I have been a designer for the University of Central Florida. UCF has one of largest student enrollments in the United States. My division, the Center for Distributed Learning, focuses on online learning, which accounts for over 60% of the student course load. My duties as the Graphics Team Lead of four includes assessing and assigning projects and reporting to division heads on all graphic team affairs. I work wide variety of projects, both digital and print, for multiple colleges and departments within the university. Every project is different and you never know what will come across my desk. I meet with many different and demanding faculty, shifting with personalities is a MUST! UCF has a strict brand that the whole university had to adhere to and is my job to maintain this. Ordering equipment, supplies, software as well as obtaining vendor quotes is a norm. CDL has numerous initatives and conferences that graphics has a heavy hand in. Beyond the UCF brand, I must design brands for other different projects. Being a jack of all trades is very handy.
